Italian Herb Bread Dipping Recipe

This bread dipping recipe is meant for those who love the taste of Italian foods or for those who are looking for a good recipe to start with.

Ingredients:
  ¼ tsp of freshly ground dried oregano 
  ¼ tsp of freshly ground dried basil
  ¼ tsp of freshly ground sun-dried tomatoes 
  ¼ cup high-quality extra virgin olive oil 
  1 sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper 
  1 loaf fresh-baked French, Italian, Ciabatta, Focaccia or Sourdough bread

Directions:

Sprinkle the oregano, basil, and sun-dried tomatoes onto a shallow dish such as a saucer or a dipping plate. Pour water over the spices so that they are submerged and soak them for 20 minutes. Pour all of the water out of the dish,  leaving the other ingredients, and replace it with the olive oil. Top with the pepper. Place your knife at an angle against the warm bread and then slice the bread into ¾ inch slices. Dip the bread slices into the ingredients on the serving plate. Enjoy as a snack, hors d’oeuvre, or appetizer.
