Italian Bread Dipping With Olive Oil Dipping Dishes

Did you know bread on the side can go with almost anything? Have you heard of olive oil bread dipping? Extra virgin olive oil is great on salads as and can also be used as a vinaigrette dressing, just like Italian Modena Balsamic Vinegar which makes a tasty salad dressing. Bread dipping in olive oil also can be a side dish with an Italian salad.


Extra Virgin Olive Oil On Italian Salads

  • One half teaspoon black pepper
  • One quarter cup
  • One quarter cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • One teaspoon salt
  • Two cloves garlic
  • Two heads chicory
  • Two tablespoons Modena Balsamic Vinegar

Dice the garlic into small chunks. Mince the onions as well. Wash the chicory and throw out the tough outer leaves. Dry and then rip the leaves into small pieces and place in a bowl. Mix the onions and garlic before adding the extra virgin olive oil and the balsamic vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste and then pour over the salad leaves.

Italian Stuffed Tomato Salad With Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • One can of anchovy fillets
  • One clove garlic
  • One quarter cup chopped capers
  • One quarter teaspoon black pepper
  • One tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Six ripe small size tomatoes
  • Two hard-cooked eggs

Mince the garlic and then slice up the eggs. Of each tomato cut out a ½ inch piece from the stem end and scoop out the inside of each tomato. Chop up the pulp and then dice the anchovies. Mix all together with the capers, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, eggs, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Stuff everything in the tomatoes and serve as an appetizer.

Extra virgin olive oil, or EVOO makes the perfect olive oil for bread dipping. Aceto Balsamico balsamic vinegar makes the perfect salad dressing. Why not combine the two together, and have a salad with a side of bread dipping and olive oil in a dipping dish?

To obtain a nutritive meal out of this salad, you will need to mix it with some sliced chicken breasts. It will take up to a quarter of an hour to prepare this salad and you will obtain 4 servings.

Here is what you need for the salad:

• Half a cup of chopped walnuts
• Half a cup of crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
• Half a cup of dried currants or dried cranberries
• One eight ounce package of mixed Spring Greens

Here are the necessary ingredients for the dressing:

• Two tablespoons grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
• Four to five teaspoons of balsamic vinegar

Place all the salad ingredients in a large bowl and mix them. The dressing ingredients should be mixed in separate bowl until emulsified. Cover the salad with ½ dressing and toss the mixture really well. Use five separate salad plates to serve the salad and use the other half of dressing to add to taste.
